A very heavy serif with sharply tapered strokes and pronounced contrast, pairing thick vertical masses with hairline-like joins and crisply pointed wedge endings. Serifs are bracketed and often sharpen into triangular beaks, while counters stay relatively compact, giving the face a dense, poster-ready color. Many letters show stylized interior cut-ins and teardrop/triangular apertures that read like deliberate “nicks,” adding a carved, ink-trap-like texture at joins. Round letters are wide and muscular, and the overall rhythm alternates between strong vertical pillars and crisp, chiseled detailing.

Best suited to headlines, magazine spreads, and high-impact branding where its sculpted serifs and strong contrast can be appreciated. It can work for short pull quotes, packaging titles, and mastheads; for longer passages it will perform more comfortably at larger sizes with generous spacing.

The typeface feels assertive and theatrical, with a fashion/editorial polish and a hint of vintage display glamour. Its sharp beaks and sculpted interiors give it a dramatic, slightly eccentric voice that reads as premium and attention-seeking rather than utilitarian.

Likely designed to deliver a contemporary take on a classic serif by pushing weight and contrast to create a commanding display voice, while adding distinctive internal cut-ins and sharp terminals to stand apart in branding and editorial contexts.

In text settings the dense weight and decorative cut-ins can create lively sparkle but also increase visual noise at smaller sizes. The uppercase has a monumental presence, while the lowercase introduces more quirky, calligraphic moments (notably in a, g, s, and t), reinforcing a display-first personality.
