A serifed display face with a bookish, old-style skeleton and visibly textured contours. Strokes show high contrast with tapering joins and occasional wedge-like terminals, while edges appear irregular as if printed from worn type or drawn with a dry pen. Letterforms are slightly varied in weight and finish from glyph to glyph, giving an uneven, hand-printed rhythm. The lowercase is compact with a relatively short x-height and delicate hairlines; numerals are slender and similarly distressed, with open counters and lightly fractured curves.

Works well where you want a refined serif voice with added grit: book and magazine covers, editorial pull quotes, posters, and title treatments. It can also support artisanal branding and packaging that benefits from an aged or handcrafted impression, especially in short passages or display sizes where the texture remains evident.

The overall tone feels antiquarian and tactile—like ink on rough paper, letterpress output, or archival ephemera. Its controlled classical structure keeps it readable, while the rough texture adds a human, timeworn character that reads as literary and atmospheric rather than slick or corporate.

The design appears intended to merge a classical serif foundation with deliberate wear and print artifacts, preserving familiar proportions while introducing irregular edges to evoke age, tactility, and analog production.

Texture is most noticeable along curves and verticals, where the stroke edges appear scuffed or broken, producing a subtle sparkle at text sizes. Spacing and sidebearings feel traditionally proportioned, with a calm reading rhythm in mixed-case despite the intentional irregularities.
