A refined serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and sharp, bracketed serifs that taper to crisp points. Curves show a slightly calligraphic, diagonal stress, with smooth ovals and narrow joins that give the letterforms a polished, traditional rhythm. Capitals are elegantly proportioned with long, clean hairlines, while the lowercase keeps a relatively small x-height and compact counters, contributing to a more traditional text color. Numerals appear as oldstyle figures, with varied heights and descenders that integrate naturally with running text.

Well suited to book and long-form editorial typography where a traditional serif voice is desired, especially for literature, essays, and magazine features. It also works effectively for refined titles, pull quotes, and formal pieces such as invitations or programs, where the crisp contrast can be showcased.

The overall tone is classic and literary, with a poised, authoritative presence suited to formal communication. Its high-contrast detailing and traditional proportions lend an editorial, bookish sophistication rather than a utilitarian or industrial feel.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional, book-oriented serif voice with a more polished, high-contrast finish. By pairing traditional proportions and bracketed serifs with finely drawn hairlines, it aims to project credibility and elegance in continuous reading and formal display contexts.

Stroke endings are consistently sharp and neatly controlled, and the contrast is most evident in curved letters where hairlines become very fine. The design emphasizes elegance over ruggedness, so spacing and texture read best when given enough size or print-like rendering to preserve the thin strokes.
