A compact blackletter display face with dense, vertical construction and sharply notched terminals. Strokes are heavy and mostly straight, punctuated by angular joins and pointed spur-like protrusions that create a serrated silhouette. Counters are tight and rectangular, and many forms finish with small wedge serifs and hooked tips, producing a crisp, chiseled texture across lines. Capitals feel rigid and formal while the lowercase maintains the same narrow, upright skeleton with consistent dark color and minimal roundness.

Best suited to short, high-impact settings such as horror posters, metal or dark-genre album art, game and film titles, haunted attraction or Halloween promotions, and bold brand marks that want an aggressive gothic edge. It works especially well when given ample size and contrast against clean backgrounds.

The letterforms project a menacing, ritualistic tone—like carved gothic signage with added thorns. Its spiky detailing and tight rhythm read as intense and unsettling, leaning toward horror and dark fantasy rather than historical reproduction. The overall effect is confrontational and theatrical, designed to amplify tension in headlines.

The design appears intended as a dramatic display blackletter that prioritizes atmosphere over neutrality, combining traditional gothic structure with exaggerated spikes and roughened contours to evoke dread and dark spectacle.

In the sample text, the face creates a strong, continuous black band with frequent sharp interior cuts, so readability drops as size decreases or when used in long passages. The numerals match the same angular, carved aesthetic, keeping the set visually cohesive in display contexts.
