A refined serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and delicate hairlines. Serifs are bracketed and sharply finished, giving a crisp, engraved feel without becoming spiky. Capitals are proportioned with classical restraint and rounded forms (C, O, Q) show smooth, controlled curves; the Q carries a sweeping, calligraphic tail. The lowercase is compact with a relatively low x-height, slender stems, and small, tidy terminals; italics are not shown, but several forms (notably y and g) exhibit gently calligraphic movement. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, with narrow joins and elegant curves that keep figures clear at display sizes.

Well-suited to long-form reading and editorial typography where a classic serif voice is desired, such as books, magazines, and literary journals. It also works effectively for formal communications—programs, invitations, and institutional materials—where elegance and restraint are important.

The overall tone is traditional and composed, projecting a bookish, institutional confidence. Its high-contrast detailing and neat serifing read as polished and cultured, lending an air of formality and editorial authority.

Designed to deliver a conventional, trustworthy text-seriffed voice with elevated contrast and carefully shaped details. The intent appears to balance traditional readability with a more refined, print-like finish for editorial and formal applications.

In the sample text, the face maintains an even typographic color while preserving crisp stroke contrast, especially in round letters and diagonals. The punctuation and ampersand match the refined, print-oriented character, and the long descenders add a slightly stately vertical rhythm in mixed-case settings.
