This serif shows pronounced thick–thin modulation with hairline horizontals and tapered joins, creating a crisp, elegant texture. Serifs are small and finely bracketed, with sharp, pointed terminals that add a slightly calligraphic edge. Uppercase forms feel stately and restrained, while the lowercase has compact, controlled curves and a traditional rhythm; the a is double‑storey and the g is double‑storey with a clear ear. Numerals echo the same contrast and finesse, with slender stems and refined shaping that suits text and titling alike.

Well suited to magazine and editorial design where contrast and refinement are desirable, as well as book typography that benefits from a classic serif tone. It can also serve for elegant headlines, pull quotes, and brand applications that want a literate, premium feel.

The overall tone is polished and editorial, balancing classical bookish authority with a modern, fashion-forward sheen. Its delicate detailing and bright contrast suggest sophistication and precision, giving paragraphs a composed, high-end voice rather than a rugged or casual one.

The design appears intended to provide a conventional serif foundation with elevated contrast and crisp detailing, aiming for a refined reading voice that also performs attractively in display settings. Its careful tapering and sharp terminals suggest a focus on sophistication and an upscale, contemporary editorial aesthetic.

In longer samples the type builds a smooth, continuous rhythm with narrow letterforms and clear vertical emphasis. The strongest personality comes from the very thin cross-strokes and the pointed, slightly dramatic terminals, which read especially prominently at larger sizes.
