A high-contrast serif with an engraved inline running through most stems and bowls, creating a carved, hollowed look inside otherwise solid forms. The letterforms show crisp, tapered serifs and pronounced thick–thin modulation, with generally generous proportions and open counters. Curves are smooth and slightly calligraphic, while straight strokes stay clean and vertical; the inline detail adds a second rhythm inside the strokes that becomes a defining texture at display sizes. Numerals follow the same contrast and inline treatment, with elegant curves and a slightly theatrical presence.

Best suited to display typography such as magazine headlines, pull quotes, fashion and beauty branding, premium packaging, invitations, and poster work. It can also work for short, spacious text settings when the size is large enough to preserve the inline carving and the sharp contrast.

The inline engraving lends the type a refined, boutique feel—part fashion editorial, part classic bookish elegance. Its contrast and internal cut-lines create a dramatic, crafted tone that reads as premium, nostalgic, and slightly ornamental rather than utilitarian.

The design appears intended to merge a classic high-contrast serif structure with an engraved inline treatment, producing a decorative, print-like finish that suggests craftsmanship and heritage. The goal seems to be a distinctive display face that adds texture and sophistication without becoming overly ornate.

The inline detail is consistently applied and visually prominent, so it performs best when given enough size and contrast to keep the internal line from filling in. Spacing and silhouettes feel designed for headlines and short passages, where the internal stroke rhythm can be appreciated without competing with dense texture.
