A crisp, high-contrast roman with tapered terminals and small bracketed, wedge-like finishing that reads as subtly flared at display sizes. Strokes shift sharply from thick verticals to hairline connections, with smooth, rounded bowls and carefully controlled curves that keep counters open despite the contrast. Capitals feel stately and slightly narrow with pronounced thick/thin rhythm, while the lowercase shows a traditional double-storey “a” and “g,” compact joins, and neatly tapered ascenders. Numerals follow the same contrast and curvature, with delicate hairlines and more substantial main stems.

This design is well suited to editorial typography—magazine features, book covers, section openers, and pull quotes—where contrast and refined detail can be appreciated. It also works effectively for branding and packaging that aims for a classic, premium voice, especially in titles and short blocks of text.

The overall tone is polished and authoritative, with a distinctly bookish, editorial flavor. Its sharp hairlines and sculpted curves add sophistication and a touch of drama, making the texture feel premium and composed rather than casual or utilitarian.

The letterforms appear designed to deliver a contemporary, high-contrast reading of classic roman proportions: elegant curves, controlled spacing, and tapered finishing that enhance sophistication in display and editorial contexts while maintaining clarity and consistency across cases and numerals.

At larger sizes the fine hairlines and tapered terminals become a defining feature, creating a bright, sparkling rhythm across lines of text. In denser settings, the strong thick/thin modulation produces a pronounced vertical emphasis and a refined page color.
