A text-oriented serif with bracketed serifs, softened joins, and subtly irregular, print-like edges. Strokes show moderate contrast with gently tapered terminals and small wedge-like feet, giving letters a slightly calligraphic, old-style rhythm without pronounced slant. Counters are fairly open and the overall color is even, though the outlines exhibit intentional roughening that adds texture. Proportions lean traditional, with compact curves and sturdy verticals that hold up well in continuous reading, while a few forms (notably in the diagonals and round letters) show mild, humanized variation.

Well suited to editorial layouts, books, and other longform reading where a classic serif voice is desired with a touch of tactile texture. It can also support literary or heritage-flavored branding, packaging, and headings where a subtle print-worn character adds authenticity without sacrificing readability.

The font conveys a vintage, bookish tone—evoking letterpress or well-worn printed pages rather than a pristine digital finish. Its softened serifs and lightly distressed contours feel warm and approachable, lending an understated handmade character that reads as literary and slightly nostalgic.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional text serif foundation while introducing an organic, slightly weathered edge that suggests ink on paper. It balances traditional proportions and readable spacing with restrained distressing to create a familiar yet characterful page texture.

In text, the texture created by the roughened outlines is consistent and gives a gentle “inked” sparkle rather than harsh grunge. Numerals and capitals share the same softened, traditional construction, helping headings and running text feel cohesive.
