This typeface is a serif with distinctly flared terminals: stems subtly broaden as they approach the ends, creating sculpted, wedge-like serifs and a gently calligraphic modulation. Curves are open and smooth with restrained stroke variation, while joins and corners stay crisp rather than rounded. Capitals feel classical and steady, with generous inner counters (notably in C, O, and Q) and balanced proportions. Lowercase forms are readable and bookish, with a two-storey a and g, compact ear and hooks, and neatly finished ascenders and descenders. Numerals follow the same flared, tapered logic, staying clear and evenly weighted next to the letters.

Well-suited to long-form reading in books, essays, and magazine layouts where a traditional serif voice is desired. The distinctive flared terminals also make it effective for refined branding, packaging, and headings that need a classical tone with a slightly more crafted finish than a standard text serif.

The overall tone is cultured and literary, pairing traditional serif familiarity with a slightly hand-shaped warmth from the flared endings. It reads as composed and trustworthy rather than loud, with an understated elegance that suits editorial typography.

The design appears intended to deliver comfortable, conventional serif readability while differentiating itself through flared, tapered endings and a subtly calligraphic touch. It aims for a timeless, editorial presence that can move between text and display without losing its composed character.

In text, the flared stroke endings add a subtle rhythm along baselines and stems, giving paragraphs a soft texture without appearing decorative. Letterforms avoid sharp, high-contrast hairlines, which helps maintain consistency across sizes while preserving a crisp, formal silhouette.
