This is a high-contrast italic serif with a pronounced calligraphic stress and crisp, wedge-like bracketed serifs. Strokes taper to fine terminals, with strong thick–thin modulation and lively, slightly irregular curves that keep the rhythm from feeling mechanical. Uppercase forms are wide and sculpted with sweeping diagonals and tapered joins, while the lowercase shows a traditional italic structure with single-storey a and g, compact bowls, and angled entry/exit strokes. Numerals are similarly slanted and expressive, with curving shapes and tapered ends that read as text figures rather than rigid lining forms.

It suits book and long-form editorial settings where a classic italic is needed for emphasis, as well as refined headlines and pull quotes. The expressive italic character also works well for upscale invitations, cultural branding, and packaging where a traditional, polished voice is desired.

The overall tone is classic and literary, evoking book typography and formal correspondence. Its energetic slant and sharp finishing strokes add a sense of movement and refinement, giving it a slightly dramatic, editorial voice rather than a purely neutral one.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif italic with strong calligraphic influence, prioritizing elegance and readability while adding lively, high-contrast sparkle for emphasis and display within editorial systems.

In text, the strong contrast and narrow hairlines create a sparkling texture, especially in diagonals and rounded letters; it benefits from adequate size and breathing room to avoid hairline loss. The italic construction is consistent across letters and figures, producing a cohesive, flowing line without looking script-like.
