A rough, hand-rendered display face with heavily irregular outlines and sharp, tapering terminals. Strokes look brushy and inked, with frequent spikes, nicks, and uneven edges that create a distressed silhouette. Letterforms vary noticeably in width and rhythm, mixing narrow verticals with occasional wider bowls, and the counters are often small and uneven. The baseline and cap line read mostly stable in text, but the internal stroke behavior stays deliberately inconsistent for an agitated, scratchy texture.

Best suited for short, high-impact typography such as horror and thriller posters, Halloween event graphics, game title screens, and album/track art. It can also work for chapter headers, packaging accents, or promotional pull quotes where atmosphere matters more than extended readability.

The font projects an eerie, uneasy tone—like hurried hand-lettering scratched into a surface or painted with a fraying brush. Its jagged terminals and dark, blotty forms evoke tension, menace, and a theatrical horror sensibility. The overall impression is raw and expressive rather than polished or neutral.

The design appears intended to mimic improvised, horror-leaning hand lettering with aggressive tapers and distressed edges, prioritizing mood and texture over uniformity. Its irregular rhythm and spiky terminals are geared toward instantly signaling danger, mystery, and the uncanny.

In the sample text, the texture is strongest at larger sizes, where the torn edges and spikes become a key visual feature. At smaller sizes, the dense black shapes and irregular counters may reduce clarity, especially in tightly set lines or long passages.
