A conventional serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and crisp, bracketed serifs. Capitals are stately and proportioned for text and titling, with rounded bowls and tapered joins that give curves a polished, slightly calligraphic finish. Lowercase forms keep a steady rhythm with moderate ascenders/descenders, clear counters, and a two-storey “g,” while terminals tend toward sharp, wedge-like finishes rather than blunt cuts. Numerals are proportional and aligned to the same refined, high-contrast logic, reading cleanly in running text.

Well suited to long-form reading and editorial layouts where a traditional serif voice is desired, such as books, magazines, and reports. It also works effectively for pull quotes, headings, and refined branding lines when set with ample leading and margins to let the contrast and serifs breathe.

The overall tone is traditional and cultivated, evoking book typography and established editorial design. Its contrast and sharp detailing add a sense of formality and precision, while the rounded inner shapes keep it approachable rather than austere.

The design appears intended as a dependable, classic text serif that balances readability with a refined, print-oriented elegance. Its high-contrast structure and bracketed serifs suggest an aim toward traditional publishing contexts while remaining versatile for contemporary editorial use.

In the text sample, the face maintains an even color and stable spacing at larger sizes, with distinctive serif cues on characters like “T,” “W,” and “y” that reinforce a classic print feel. Curves (notably in “O,” “Q,” and “e”) are smooth and controlled, contributing to a composed, authoritative presence.
