A high-contrast serif with sharp, tapered terminals and finely bracketed serifs that keep the texture crisp without feeling rigid. Stems are relatively robust against very thin hairlines, producing a lively light–dark rhythm across words. Curves are smooth and slightly calligraphic in modulation, with open counters and a measured, even spacing that reads cleanly in continuous text. Numerals and capitals follow the same polished model, with elegant joins and restrained detailing rather than ornament.

Well-suited to editorial design where a refined serif voice is desired: magazines, long-form articles, book interiors and jackets, and cultured branding. It also works for headings and pull quotes where the contrast and sharp serifs can add sophistication without becoming overly decorative.

The overall tone is traditional and composed, with an editorial, literary sensibility. Its contrast and sharp finishing give it a refined authority—more magazine and book-jacket than casual interface—while the steady proportions keep it calm and legible.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif with elevated contrast and precise finishing, aiming to deliver a classic reading experience with a more polished, contemporary edge for editorial typography.

In the sample text, the font maintains a consistent page color with clear word shapes; the thins are delicate but controlled, and punctuation and dots appear crisp at display sizes. The forms feel carefully balanced between classic book-serif conventions and a slightly modern sharpness in terminals.
