A traditional serif with bracketed serifs, high stroke contrast, and gently modulated curves that suggest a calligraphic foundation. Uppercase forms are stately and fairly wide, with crisp terminals and a balanced, book-oriented rhythm. Lowercase shows rounded bowls and tapered joins, with a two-storey “a” and “g,” compact counters, and sturdy verticals that keep color even in text. Numerals follow the same contrast and serif treatment, reading clearly with classic proportions.

Well suited to book and magazine typography, essays, and other extended reading where a familiar serif voice is desired. It also works effectively for formal headlines, invitations, and brand systems that benefit from a traditional, authoritative tone.

The overall tone is classic and literary, projecting refinement and editorial seriousness rather than loud display. Its contrast and crisp serifs add a sense of tradition and authority, while the rounded lowercase keeps it approachable for long-form reading.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif that prioritizes clarity and a timeless appearance, combining strong vertical structure with calligraphic modulation to deliver a dependable, print-friendly reading rhythm.

Serifs are distinctly bracketed and consistent across the set, and the contrast is pronounced enough to feel elegant without becoming hairline-delicate in the shown sizes. Spacing appears comfortably open in running text, supporting a steady, conventional reading texture.
