A compact blackletter with rigid vertical emphasis, sharp fractured joins, and pointed terminals throughout. Strokes show pronounced contrast between heavy stems and thinner connecting strokes, with frequent wedge-like feet and cut-in notches that create a chipped, hand-cut silhouette. Counters are tight and irregular, and many forms carry small internal breaks and jagged edges that add texture and visual noise. Uppercase letters are tall and assertive, while lowercase maintains a consistent, moderate x-height with strong ascenders and short, compact bowls; figures follow the same broken, angular construction.

Best suited to short display settings where its sharp texture and dense vertical rhythm can be appreciated—such as poster headlines, album or event titles, band marks, game title treatments, and themed packaging. It works especially well on dark, high-contrast compositions where the distressed contours contribute to atmosphere rather than body-text clarity.

The overall tone is gothic and severe, evoking medieval signage, occult or ritual aesthetics, and an intentionally ominous, aggressive mood. Its roughened edges and hard angles read as intense and confrontational rather than refined or delicate.

The design appears intended to deliver a forceful blackletter presence with added roughness and irregularity for a more aggressive, handcrafted feel. It prioritizes dramatic silhouette, period flavor, and gritty texture over neutral readability, aiming for immediate mood and impact.

The texture is a defining feature: edges appear intentionally distressed, giving the face a hand-cut or weathered impression at display sizes. The rhythm is dense and vertical, so spacing and readability tighten quickly in longer text, especially where interior counters pinch and the fractured strokes cluster.
