A high-contrast serif with crisp hairlines and weighty verticals, showing strong calligraphic modulation throughout. Serifs are sharp and tapered, with several strokes subtly swelling into flared terminals, giving the outlines a sculpted, chiseled feel rather than purely mechanical geometry. Capitals are stately and narrow-to-moderate in proportion, with refined joins and pointed apexes (notably in A, V, W, and Y). Lowercase forms keep a traditional rhythm with a normal x-height, compact counters, and pronounced thick–thin transitions; the a and g are single-storey, and the t has a slender crossbar and delicate top. Numerals follow the same contrasty logic, with elegant curves and thin entry/exit strokes that read best at display sizes.

Best suited to display typography: headlines, pull quotes, magazine and journal titles, fashion and luxury branding, and book covers where its contrast and refined detailing can be appreciated. It can also work for short editorial subheads or invitations when set with generous size and spacing to protect the hairlines.

The overall tone is elegant and elevated, with a distinctly editorial polish. Its dramatic contrast and knife-sharp details suggest luxury and heritage—more boutique magazine than utilitarian text—while the slight flaring and sculpted terminals add a crafted, expressive edge.

The design appears intended to deliver a modernized classic serif voice: dramatic contrast for impact, traditional proportions for authority, and subtly flared, sculptural stroke endings for distinctive character in branding and editorial contexts.

In the sample text, the thin horizontals and hairline serifs create a sparkling texture that is striking at larger sizes but can become fragile in dense settings or when reproduced small. The design maintains consistent contrast and terminal treatment across capitals, lowercase, and figures, producing a cohesive, formal typographic color.
