A very heavy serif with pronounced thick–thin contrast and softly bracketed serifs that flare into rounded, sometimes ball-like terminals. The forms feel sculpted and slightly calligraphic: curves swell and taper, joins are smooth, and several letters show gently cupped or notched shapes that create a lively, irregular rhythm. Counters are relatively tight for the weight, and the overall color is dark and dense, with sturdy verticals and prominent top and bottom serifs that hold lines together. Numerals and capitals share the same bold, high-contrast logic, with distinctive, display-leaning details in curves and terminals.

Best suited to headlines, pull quotes, mastheads, and other editorial display settings where a dark, high-contrast serif can carry personality. It can also work for packaging and brand marks that want a classic foundation with a slightly theatrical edge, and for short passages in print-forward layouts where strong typographic color is desirable.

The tone reads vintage and bookish, with a touch of playful drama from the exaggerated contrast and bulbous terminals. It evokes classic editorial typography and old-style advertising, feeling both authoritative and slightly eccentric rather than strictly formal.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif foundation with amplified weight and contrast, adding expressive terminals and bracketing to create a memorable, vintage-leaning voice for display-led typography.

In text, the weight and contrast produce strong texture and clear word shapes, while the more idiosyncratic terminals and compact internal spaces give it a distinctive, attention-grabbing silhouette. It will appear especially assertive at larger sizes and in short blocks where its character can be appreciated without crowding.
