A distressed serif with sharp, triangular wedge terminals and pronounced thick–thin modulation that reads like ink laid down with a pointed pen and then rough-printed. Strokes show irregular edges, small notches, and occasional blot-like swelling in counters and joins, creating a worn, textured silhouette. Proportions vary noticeably across letters, with narrow, pinched forms sitting beside broader, more open shapes, giving the line a lively, uneven rhythm. The lowercase features compact bowls and hooked or flicked terminals, while figures echo the same rugged, high-contrast construction.

Works well for display typography on posters, titles, and packaging where an aged, uncanny atmosphere is desired. It’s a strong fit for horror and fantasy branding, gothic editorials, event promos, and game/UI title treatments, and can also add character to short pull quotes or chapter heads when set with generous size and leading.

The overall tone is darkly decorative and theatrical, blending medieval/antique cues with a rough, haunted print quality. It feels suited to folklore, mystery, and macabre storytelling—expressive rather than polite—while still retaining recognizable letterforms.

The design appears intended to evoke historical serif lettering and pen-made contrast while introducing deliberate wear and misregistration effects for a distressed, atmospheric voice. The variable proportions and jagged terminals prioritize mood and texture over uniformity, aiming for an expressive, print-artifact aesthetic.

At text sizes the distressing and sharp serifs create a busy texture and strong sparkle, so spacing and size will materially affect clarity. The sample lines show the font holding together in short passages, but its irregular width and jagged detailing make it most comfortable in display-led settings.
