A high-contrast serif with sculpted, calligraphic modulation and crisp, tapered serifs. Stems are heavy and vertical while hairlines are notably fine, creating sharp transitions in letters like E, F, T, and the diagonals of V/W/X. Serifs are mostly bracketed with pointed or flared terminals, and curves (C, G, O, Q) show smooth, controlled bowls with refined entry/exit strokes. Lowercase forms are compact and traditional in construction, with a two-storey a and single-storey g, and punctuation-like details (dots, terminals) rendered as firm, rounded teardrops that add weight and clarity at display sizes.

Best suited to headlines, deck copy, pull quotes, and other large-size editorial settings where the contrast and refined serifs can be appreciated. It also fits luxury-leaning branding applications such as cosmetics, fashion labels, invitations, and premium packaging, where a confident, classic serif voice is needed.

The overall tone is polished and assertive, with a distinctly editorial, fashion-forward feel. Its pronounced contrast and sharp finishing give it a premium, headline-oriented voice that reads as confident, traditional, and slightly theatrical rather than casual or utilitarian.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary take on a classic text-serif model, amplifying contrast and sharpening terminals for strong display performance while maintaining familiar letter structures for readability and an established, literary feel.

At large sizes the thin strokes and sharp joins create a crisp, engraved-like sparkle, while the heavier joins and rounded terminals keep the texture from feeling brittle. Numerals follow the same display-led contrast and have strong silhouettes that pair well with title typography.
