A textured, handwritten italic with brush-pen behavior: strokes swell and taper, with frequent sharp terminals and slightly broken, ragged edges that mimic dry ink on rough paper. Letterforms are narrow and loosely calligraphic, with lively baseline movement and uneven rhythm typical of quick hand lettering. Capitals are expressive and tall with occasional flourish-like hooks, while lowercase forms stay compact with a notably small x-height and long, descending strokes that add vertical drama. Counters tend to be small and irregular, and spacing feels organic rather than strictly mechanical.

Best suited to display settings such as posters, book or album covers, game titles, and themed packaging where a hand-inked, distressed voice is desirable. It can work for short passages or pull quotes when set with generous size and spacing, but the textured strokes and compact lowercase favor headlines, labels, and titling over long-form reading.

The overall tone is theatrical and old-world, suggesting hand-inked titles, fantasy ephemera, or aged printed matter. Its rough texture and energetic slant give it a slightly ominous, adventurous feel—more “told by candlelight” than modern and polished.

Designed to evoke expressive hand lettering with a deliberately worn, brushy finish—capturing the character of quick calligraphy and imperfect ink transfer for atmospheric, themed typography.

The distressed texture is consistent across letters and numerals, so the font reads as intentionally weathered rather than accidentally noisy. In running text, the narrow forms and lively joins create a strong dark rhythm; larger sizes better showcase the brush details and uneven edges.
