A condensed, display-oriented serif with extreme thick–thin modulation and strongly vertical stress. The serifs read as sharp wedges and flared terminals, giving an incised, chiseled look rather than bracketed or slabby forms. Counters are tight and apertures tend to be narrow, with a crisp, high-contrast edge that produces bold silhouettes and clear internal cut-ins. The lowercase shows a small x-height with tall ascenders, and the overall rhythm is vertical and stately, with occasional decorative inflections in joins and terminals.

Best used for headlines, titles, and short bursts of text where its contrast and wedge detailing can be appreciated. It fits well in posters, mastheads, book-cover typography, and bold packaging or label work where a condensed, authoritative voice is desired.

The tone is assertive and theatrical, combining a classic, old-world seriousness with a slightly ornamental, poster-like flair. Its sharp contrast and wedge-like detailing feel ceremonial and editorial, suited to statements that want to look formal, dramatic, and attention-commanding.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact in a condensed width while retaining a traditional serif identity. By pushing contrast and using wedge-like serifs and flared terminals, it aims for a carved, ceremonial display look that reads as classic yet distinctly stylized.

The numerals and capitals are especially monumental, with narrow interior spaces that heighten the contrast effect at larger sizes. In longer text the tight counters and strong verticals create a dense, high-impact texture, favoring display settings over extended reading.
