A lightly built serif with gently flared terminals and a subtly calligraphic stroke logic. Strokes show moderate contrast and smooth modulation, with rounded joins and open, generous counters that keep forms airy. Serifs are understated and often merge into the stem as small wedges or flares rather than crisp bracketed feet, creating a continuous, brush-like rhythm. Curves are broad and controlled, while straight strokes remain clean and slightly tapered, yielding an overall polished but organic texture in text.

Well-suited to editorial typography where a refined, readable texture is desired, including magazines, book interiors, and long-form articles at comfortable sizes. The distinctive flared terminals also make it effective for branding, packaging, and invitations where a classic, cultured voice is helpful without relying on heavy ornamentation.

The tone is bookish and classical, with a quiet elegance that feels cultivated rather than formal. Its flared endings and soft modulation add warmth and a hint of old-style character, lending a literary, editorial voice without becoming ornate.

The design appears intended to blend traditional serif readability with a more human, hand-influenced finish. By using flared endings and moderate modulation, it aims to create an elegant text face that carries personality and warmth while maintaining a clear, even rhythm on the line.

Capitals have ample breadth and smooth, circular bowls (notably in C/O/Q), while diagonals and joins stay crisp enough to preserve clarity. Numerals share the same light, flowing construction, with curvy figures (2, 3, 5, 8, 9) reading distinctly and harmonizing with the text color.
