A rough, hand-drawn display face with scratchy, irregular strokes and visibly broken edges. Letterforms are mostly upright with a narrow overall stance, but widths vary noticeably from glyph to glyph, giving the line a restless rhythm. Strokes show high contrast between thick, inky main marks and thinner, wiry secondary strokes, with frequent tapering and abrupt terminals. Curves are slightly wobbly and textured, while straight stems often look dry-brushed or sketched over, producing a deliberately imperfect, distressed silhouette.

Best suited to display settings where the distressed texture can read as intentional—posters, title cards, packaging accents, album covers, zines, and bold social graphics. It works especially well for short lines, punchy headlines, and thematic branding where an expressive, roughened voice is desired over quiet readability.

The font conveys a raw, gritty energy—more like marker or brush lettering made quickly and confidently than polished calligraphy. Its distressed texture and uneven rhythm suggest urgency, DIY attitude, and a slightly chaotic, underground tone that feels at home in alternative or horror-adjacent styling.

The design appears intended to mimic fast, hand-rendered lettering with a worn, scraped surface, prioritizing personality and atmosphere. Its controlled upright structure keeps it legible at display sizes while the distressed stroke behavior adds drama and a handcrafted edge.

In continuous text the texture becomes a prominent graphic element, with occasional stroke breaks and spiky protrusions creating a noisy color on the page. Numerals and capitals share the same scratch-built construction, helping headings and short phrases feel cohesive and emphatic.
