A high-contrast serif with crisp, hairline detailing and sharply tapered stroke endings. Vertical strokes read as firm and clean, while joins and serifs flare subtly from the stems, creating a sculpted, calligraphic impression rather than blunt slab forms. Curves are smooth and generously drawn (notably in O/Q/C), with thin connecting strokes and delicate, pointed terminals that give the design a bright, polished rhythm. The lowercase shows a traditional, bookish structure with a two-storey a and g, narrow shoulders, and a slightly flowing modulation through n/m/u, while numerals echo the same contrast with fine diagonals and precise serifs.

Best suited to display-led typography where its fine hairlines and strong thick–thin modulation can remain clear—magazine titles, section headers, posters, and brand marks. It can also serve as a high-end text companion in larger sizes or short passages, where the refined serifs and controlled rhythm contribute a distinctly editorial feel.

The overall tone is poised and luxurious, balancing classical book typography with a more fashion-forward, high-drama contrast. It feels formal and assured, with a refined sharpness that reads as premium and curated rather than casual or rustic.

The design appears intended to deliver a modernized classic serif voice: sharp, high-contrast forms with subtly flared stroke endings that elevate simple Roman construction into something more expressive and premium. It prioritizes elegance and visual punch in headlines while maintaining familiar, readable letter shapes.

Spacing appears open enough to keep the hairlines from clogging in display settings, and the design’s thin horizontals and serifs become a defining feature at larger sizes. The ampersand and punctuation in the sample text reinforce the elegant, engraved-like finish through tight curves and tapered joins.
