A serifed, calligraphic display face with a noticeably wide stance and lively stroke modulation. Stems show crisp thick–thin contrast with tapered, flared terminals and softly bracketed serifs that feel drawn rather than engineered. Curves are generous and open, while diagonals and joins often finish in pointed, ink-like wedges, giving the letterforms a slightly swashy silhouette without becoming connected script. Spacing appears roomy, reinforcing the broad proportions and keeping counters clear in larger settings.

Best suited to display typography such as headlines, book or chapter titles, editorial pull quotes, and cover treatments where its wide proportions and contrast can breathe. It can also work for refined branding and invitations when used at moderate-to-large sizes with comfortable tracking.

The overall tone is formal and traditional, with a literary, slightly romantic character. Its inked tapers and subtly decorative terminals suggest invitation-level elegance and a classic, old-world voice suited to ceremonial or narrative contexts.

The design appears intended to translate broad-nib calligraphic cues into a serifed display alphabet: expressive contrast, tapered endings, and gently embellished terminals, while maintaining clear, separate letterforms for formal text settings.

Uppercase forms read especially sculptural and wide, with distinctive, gently flourishing terminals; lowercase maintains readability while retaining the same tapered, calligraphic finishing. Numerals follow the same contrast and flare logic, and punctuation (as seen in the sample) looks crisp and assertive at display sizes.
