A heavy serif with compact proportions and pronounced, wedge-like serifs that often feel beaked or slightly flared at the ends. Strokes show clear contrast, with sturdy verticals and fuller curves, and many joins resolve into sharp, triangular notches that read like ink-trap detailing. Counters are relatively tight and the overall texture is dark and even, giving lines of text a strong, continuous rhythm. Lowercase features include a single-storey “a” and “g,” a curved “t” with a substantial cross stroke, and rounded forms that finish with crisp serifed terminals.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, and short passages where its strong serifs and dark color can carry impact. It works well for editorial branding, book and album covers, vintage-inspired packaging, and display typography that needs a traditional yet assertive voice.

The tone is confident and old-style, with a poster-like solidity that evokes traditional printing and vintage headline typography. Its sharp interior cuts and flared endings add a slightly ornamental edge without becoming delicate, keeping the voice bold, emphatic, and decidedly classic.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif impression with extra punch: sturdy letterforms, emphatic serifs, and crisp interior carving that holds up in display settings while keeping a coherent, text-like structure.

In the sample text, the font maintains a dense color and steady cadence, while the pointed joins and beaked terminals create distinctive sparkle at larger sizes. Numerals are weighty and expressive, matching the uppercase’s strong, engraved-like presence.
