A high-contrast serif with an engraved inline treatment: a fine interior line runs through stems and curves, creating a hollowed, double-stroke impression while keeping the outer contours crisp. Serifs are sharp and largely unbracketed to lightly bracketed, with thin hairlines and strong vertical emphasis. Round letters (O, Q, C) show smooth, even bowls and the inline follows the curvature closely; the Q has a distinctive tail that intersects the bowl. Lowercase forms are bookish and compact with clear two-storey a and g, a narrow e with a small eye, and a tall, slender t; numerals share the same contrast and inline detailing, with open, elegant curves on 2 and 3 and a looped 8.

Best suited to display applications such as headlines, titles, posters, and book or album covers where the inline carving can be appreciated. It can also work for refined logotypes and event collateral, especially when paired with restrained supporting typography.

The inline engraving effect lends a refined, old-world elegance associated with print craft, invitations, and classic editorial typography. Its tone feels formal and decorative rather than utilitarian, with a subtle theatrical flair in display sizes.

The design appears intended to evoke engraved or letterpress-era refinement by combining a modern high-contrast serif structure with a carved inline that adds ornament without changing the overall silhouette. It prioritizes elegance and visual distinction in display contexts.

The inline detailing is consistent across caps, lowercase, and figures, but the finest hairlines and interior cuts make the design visually delicate, especially in smaller settings or low-contrast reproduction. Spacing appears balanced for text samples, while the decorative stroke treatment remains the primary attention driver.
