A delicate oldstyle serif with gently bracketed serifs and subtly tapered strokes that keep the texture light and even. Curves are open and round with generous counters, while many verticals show small spurs and fork-like finishing details that add a faintly calligraphic bite. Capitals are clean and restrained with classical proportions; the lowercase is slightly more lively, with a single-storey a and g, tall ascenders, and a softly curved tail on y. Numerals are lining and similarly airy, with smooth bowls and modest terminal shaping that stays consistent across the set.

Well-suited to long-form reading in books and editorial layouts where an open, comfortable texture is needed. It also works nicely for literary branding, exhibition text, and refined invitations or programs where a classic serif with a hint of personality can carry tone without heavy ornament.

The overall tone feels literary and cultured—more human and personable than purely formal, yet still polished. The spurred terminals introduce a quiet eccentricity that reads as handmade nuance rather than decoration for its own sake.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional reading serif with added character through spurred, forked terminals—keeping the page color light and legible while offering a distinctive, slightly calligraphic finish in display sizes.

In text, the face maintains a calm rhythm with clear word shapes and unobtrusive serifs. The distinctive spur/fork terminals appear as small accents at joins and stroke endings, giving headings and pull quotes a subtle signature without overwhelming paragraph color.
