A high-contrast italic serif with a pronounced rightward slant and crisp, bracketed wedge serifs. Strokes move from hairline-thin joins to heavier stems, with calligraphic modulation and diagonal stress that gives the forms a lively, written rhythm. The capitals are relatively narrow and upright in structure despite the slant, while the lowercase shows more fluidity through tapered terminals, a single-storey italic “a,” and a looped descending “g.” Figures follow the same italic modulation, with open, curved forms and sharp entry/exit strokes.

Well suited to editorial and book contexts where an italic is needed for emphasis, quotations, or literary titling. It can also serve in formal printed materials—programs, invitations, and certificates—especially when set at sizes that preserve its hairline detail.

The overall tone feels classical and cultivated, with the poise of book typography and traditional editorial design. Its energetic slant and sharp hairlines add a sense of elegance and movement without becoming ornamental.

Designed to provide a conventional, highly legible italic companion with a distinctly classical serif voice. The strong modulation and tapered detailing suggest an intention to echo broad-nib calligraphy while maintaining the disciplined structure required for continuous reading.

Spacing appears moderately open for an italic, and the contrast is strong enough that very fine hairlines become a defining feature at larger sizes. The italic construction is consistent across letters and numerals, producing an even texture in paragraph settings while still preserving distinct character shapes.
