This serif shows a distinctly slanted, calligraphic construction with sharp, triangular bracketed serifs and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Curves are lively and slightly irregular in a controlled way, with open counters and tapered terminals that give strokes a cut-from-the-pen feel. Capitals feel sturdy and formal while retaining a gentle forward motion; lowercase forms lean more fluid, with noticeable entry/exit strokes and a rhythmic, slightly bouncy baseline impression. Figures are italicized to match the text, with contrasting stems and curved forms that read clearly at display sizes.

It will perform especially well in headlines, decks, and pull quotes for magazines and editorial layouts, as well as on book covers and literary branding where an expressive serif can carry tone. For longer passages, it’s best used at comfortable text sizes with adequate spacing to accommodate the energetic stroke contrast and italic rhythm.

The overall tone is classic and bookish, but with enough motion and contrast to feel spirited rather than austere. It suggests editorial sophistication—suited to refined, voice-driven typography where a hint of drama and personality is welcome.

The design appears intended to offer a conventional text-serif foundation infused with italic energy—combining traditional proportions with sharp serifs and calligraphic modulation to produce an elegant, attention-getting reading texture.

In the sample text, the slant and high contrast create strong word-shape texture and a distinctive sparkle, especially in mixed-case settings. The italic construction is consistent across caps, lowercase, and numerals, helping headlines and pull quotes feel cohesive.
