A decorative serif with pronounced contrast and a slightly calligraphic construction. Strokes swell and taper into flared, bracketed terminals, producing wedge-like serifs and sculpted joins rather than rigid, straight cuts. Curves are generous and sometimes asymmetrical, giving counters a lively, hand-shaped feel; the lowercase shows rounded bowls, a two-storey “g,” and a compact ear on “g,” while diagonals and arms often finish in hooked or beaked ends. Overall spacing reads moderately open for a display face, with distinct letterforms and a rhythm driven by alternating thick stems and fine hairlines.

Best suited to headlines, titles, and short passages where its sculpted serifs and calligraphic contrast can be appreciated at larger sizes. It would work well for book covers, theatrical or event posters, boutique packaging, and brand marks that benefit from a vintage or folkloric tone.

The font conveys a playful, old-world personality—part storybook, part Victorian poster—without becoming fully novelty. Its confident contrast and curled terminals add a theatrical, slightly mischievous tone that suits characterful headlines and themed branding.

The design appears intended to modernize historical serif cues—bracketed wedges, flared terminals, and calligraphic swelling—into a cohesive display face with high personality and strong word-shape presence.

In the sample text, the strong vertical stress and pronounced terminals create a vivid texture, especially in word shapes with many curves (S, C, O, a, e). Numerals share the same flared finishing and feel display-oriented, with a decorative “2” and “3” that echo the beaked terminals seen in capitals.
