This serif italic shows a pronounced diagonal slant with fluid, calligraphic motion and clear thick–thin modulation throughout. Serifs are sharp and tapered rather than bracketless blocks, giving terminals a crisp, chiselled finish. Capitals are tall and stately with generous curves (notably in C, G, O, Q) and a slightly sweeping, pen-informed rhythm. Lowercase forms are compact and traditional, with a two-storey g and a lively, looped ampersand; ascenders are relatively prominent and many letters finish with subtle entry/exit strokes that reinforce the italic flow. Numerals follow the same high-contrast, angled construction and read as text figures designed to sit comfortably within running type.

It performs well for editorial typography, book and magazine text, and other long-form reading contexts where an italic is used for emphasis. The graceful contrast and crisp detailing also make it a strong choice for formal announcements, invitations, and refined display lines such as chapter openers or pull quotes.

The overall tone is cultured and editorial, combining classical polish with a dynamic, handwritten energy. It feels authoritative and refined, suited to settings where a traditional voice with a touch of flourish is desired.

The design appears intended as a classic, text-oriented italic that brings traditional serif credibility while adding a distinct pen-like elegance. Its construction emphasizes readability and continuity in paragraphs, with enough flourish to make emphasis and short headlines feel special.

Stroke endings and serifs stay consistently pointed, creating a clean sparkle at larger sizes while maintaining a disciplined baseline and spacing rhythm. The italic stress is strong but controlled, helping the font remain readable in continuous text despite its expressive forms.
