A rough, hand-rendered display face with jagged, eroded edges and uneven stroke boundaries that mimic dry brush or distressed printing. Forms are condensed and slightly slanted, with a lively, irregular rhythm and noticeable variation in stroke weight across and within glyphs. Counters tend to be small and dark, terminals are blunt or frayed, and curves look chiseled rather than smooth, reinforcing a raw, tactile texture. The lowercase shows a compact x-height and keeps the same scratchy, organic contouring seen in the uppercase and numerals.

Best suited to short, high-impact text such as posters, headlines, title cards, album artwork, and themed packaging where the distressed texture can be appreciated. It also fits punk/metal and horror-adjacent branding, as well as game or film graphics that benefit from a rough, worn-in voice. For readability, it performs strongest at medium to large sizes rather than dense body copy.

The overall tone feels gritty and confrontational, with a DIY, photocopied zine energy. Its distressed texture and angular bite give it a tense, ominous edge that reads well for darker or rebellious themes. The slanted posture adds urgency and motion, as if quickly painted or stamped under imperfect conditions.

The design appears intended to evoke imperfect, analog production—like brushed lettering, rough stamping, or degraded print—while remaining legible in bold display settings. Its condensed proportions and energetic slant support attention-grabbing typography with an intentionally unpolished finish.

Texture is a primary feature: at larger sizes the torn outline and ink breakup become highly visible, while at smaller sizes the roughness can darken counters and reduce clarity. Spacing appears naturally irregular, which enhances the handmade character but can make long passages feel busy.
