A high-contrast serif with sharp, hairline terminals and pronounced thick–thin modulation. The serifs are finely bracketed and taper to delicate points, giving strokes a crisp, engraved feel. Capitals are relatively broad with steady vertical stress, while the lowercase shows lively, calligraphic detailing—especially in the ear of the g, the hooked terminals on a few joins, and the sculpted bowls. Overall spacing reads open and airy at display sizes, with clear differentiation between rounded and straight-sided forms.

Best suited to headlines, pull quotes, mastheads, and other editorial display settings where its contrast and fine serifs can be appreciated. It can also support premium branding and packaging, and works well on book covers and posters that benefit from a classic, high-end typographic voice.

The tone is refined and editorial, leaning toward classic publishing and fashion-inflected sophistication. Its razor-thin details and sculpted curves convey a sense of ceremony and polish rather than casual neutrality.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional text-serif foundation with elevated, high-contrast detailing for a more luxurious, display-forward presence. It balances familiar proportions with sharper finishing and calligraphic touches to create a polished, authoritative texture.

The design relies on extremely thin hairlines in places (notably in E/F cross-strokes and certain terminals), which heightens the luxurious look but makes the texture feel more delicate. Numerals follow the same contrast and serif treatment, with a slightly traditional, old-style flavor in some curves and terminals.
