A high-contrast serif with crisp hairlines, weighty verticals, and sharply tapered, bracketed serifs. The letterforms show a distinctly calligraphic stress: bowls and joins swell and thin decisively, while terminals often finish in fine points or subtle beaks. Capitals feel stately and spacious, with generous curves in C/G/O and confident diagonals in V/W/Y; the italic-like tension is achieved without a slant. Lowercase maintains a balanced x-height with pronounced thick–thin modulation, open apertures, and lively details such as a two-storey g, pointed shoulder in r, and a slightly calligraphic f/t construction. Numerals continue the same contrast and sculpted rhythm, reading clearly at display sizes.

Best suited for headlines, subheads, pull quotes, and other display applications where its contrast and fine details can be appreciated. It works particularly well in editorial and magazine contexts, book jackets, and premium branding where a classic serif voice is desired.

The overall tone is polished and formal, with a fashion-and-publishing sensibility. Its strong contrast and fine finishing convey luxury and seriousness, while the energetic, calligraphic detailing keeps it from feeling mechanical or purely transitional.

The font appears designed to deliver a contemporary take on a classic, high-contrast text serif—prioritizing refined detail, sharp typographic presence, and an elevated editorial tone for prominent typography.

The design’s delicate hairlines and sharp joins create a sparkling texture in headings, but they also make spacing and line breaks more visually prominent, emphasizing rhythm and word shapes. Stroke contrast is consistent across cases, giving mixed-case settings a cohesive, editorial color.
