A slanted serif with calligraphic construction and a crisp, high-fidelity outline. Strokes show clear thick–thin modulation with tapered terminals and bracketed serifs that stay relatively delicate, giving the forms an airy color on the page. Capitals feel restrained and traditionally proportioned, while the lowercase is more fluid, with a single-storey a and g and gently looping descenders that add motion. Letterfit appears moderately open, and the italic rhythm is consistent across text and numerals, with figures that align to the same oblique stress and maintain readable spacing.

Well-suited for editorial typography such as books, magazines, and long-form articles where an italic is used for emphasis or tone. It also fits formal communications—invites, programs, and premium branding—especially where a refined, traditional serif voice is desired.

The overall tone is elegant and literary, evoking traditional book typography and formal editorial settings. Its italic voice feels expressive without becoming decorative, lending a poised, classical character suited to sophisticated communication.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif italic that balances classical proportions with a slightly calligraphic, expressive lowercase. It aims to deliver a refined reading texture while providing a distinctive italic personality for emphasis and display within editorial systems.

The ampersand is notably cursive and ornamental compared to the rest of the set, and the lowercase includes several more handwritten moments (notably in w, y, and g) that increase personality in running text. Despite the finesse of the serifs and terminals, counters remain clear and the slant remains steady, supporting continuous reading.
