A high-contrast italic serif with a pronounced calligraphic slant and crisp, tapered terminals. Strokes show clear thick–thin modulation with diagonal stress, and serifs read as fine, wedge-like and often bracketed into the stems. The uppercase has elegant, slightly narrow proportions and sharp entry/exit strokes, while the lowercase is compact with a moderate x-height and lively, angled joins. Numerals follow the same italic rhythm, with curving forms and slender hairlines that keep the overall texture bright and airy.

Well-suited to editorial typography such as magazines, essays, and book matter where an italic voice is needed for emphasis or stylistic color. It can also serve refined branding, cultural materials, and formal invitations, especially in headlines or pull quotes where the sharp contrast and italic movement can shine.

The tone is classical and literary, with a refined, courtly elegance typical of traditional italic text faces. It conveys sophistication and formality, leaning toward editorial polish rather than casual or utilitarian voice.

The design appears intended as a conventional, high-contrast italic serif that delivers a traditional, flowing reading rhythm and a polished, classical tone for editorial and literary settings.

Spacing appears tuned for continuous reading, producing a smooth, right-leaning flow in paragraphs. The strong contrast and delicate hairlines give it a dressy presence, but also make it feel most comfortable at text-to-display sizes where its thin details remain clear.
