This typeface is a high-contrast serif italic with sharply tapered serifs and a crisp, chiseled stroke finish. Curves are smooth and generous, while joins and terminals show pointed, calligraphic energy, creating a lively diagonal rhythm across words. The capitals feel stately and slightly compact with pronounced entry/exit strokes, and the lowercase maintains clear, open counters with a gently flowing texture. Numerals follow the same italic construction, with strong thick–thin modulation and firm, wedge-like finishing strokes.

It is well suited to editorial typography, book and magazine work, and any setting where italic needs to carry authority and elegance. It performs particularly well for pull quotes, subheads, short passages, and formal printed materials such as invitations or programs where a classic serif italic is desirable.

The overall tone is refined and literary, combining formality with a sense of movement. Its high-contrast, slanted construction reads as polished and expressive rather than utilitarian, lending a classic, editorial voice to headlines and emphasized text.

The design appears intended to provide a sophisticated, traditional italic companion with strong thick–thin contrast and crisp serif detailing. Its construction emphasizes graceful movement and refined finishing, aiming for a cultured, print-oriented feel in both display and text applications.

In text, the face creates a pronounced italic color and a distinctive cadence from the sharp terminals and thin hairlines. The slant and contrast make it especially characterful in larger sizes, while the consistent serif treatment helps maintain cohesion across mixed-case settings.
