A rough, hand-rendered roman with uneven stroke contours and visibly wavy edges that mimic worn ink or crude brush/marker work. Forms are mostly upright with simple, open counters and softened corners, producing a slightly blobby silhouette rather than sharp calligraphic detailing. Spacing and widths vary noticeably from glyph to glyph, and the texture stays consistent across uppercase, lowercase, and numerals, keeping an intentionally imperfect rhythm in text.

Works well for display use where texture and attitude are desirable: posters, album/EP artwork, event flyers, themed packaging, and short headlines for horror or Halloween-adjacent projects. It can also support branding that wants a handmade, gritty voice, especially when set with generous size and spacing.

The overall tone feels raw and DIY—more zine, punk flyer, or spooky craft than polished editorial typography. Its irregularity reads as expressive and human, with a slightly ominous, distressed energy that can also come across as cheeky and cartoonish depending on context.

The design appears intended to deliver a deliberately distressed, handmade look—capturing the feel of imperfect printing or quickly drawn lettering while retaining recognizable, readable roman structures. Its consistent roughness across the set suggests the goal is expressive texture and personality rather than typographic neutrality.

Uppercase shapes keep familiar roman proportions, but the distressed outlines and occasional swelling/flattening of strokes create strong word-shape texture at larger sizes. In smaller settings the edge noise can dominate, so it performs best when the roughness is allowed to be part of the message.
