A formal, calligraphic script with a pronounced rightward slant and very strong thick–thin modulation. Strokes behave like a flexible pointed nib: hairline entry/exit strokes taper sharply, while downstrokes swell into smooth, dark forms. Letterforms are narrow and rhythmic with compact counters, a short x-height, and frequent looped terminals; capitals are especially ornate with extended lead-in/lead-out swashes. Spacing and joins vary naturally, giving a slightly variable footprint from glyph to glyph while maintaining a cohesive, polished cadence in text.
