A sharp, broken-stroke blackletter with tall, condensed proportions and tightly controlled spacing. Strokes alternate between thick verticals and hairline joins, ending in pointed, wedge-like terminals that read as pen- or chisel-cut. Counters are narrow and angular, curves are minimized, and many joins are faceted, producing a crisp, rhythmic texture in text. Capitals are narrow and vertical with restrained ornament, while lowercase forms maintain a consistent, slightly irregular calligraphic edge that keeps the overall color lively rather than mechanical.

Best suited for display typography such as posters, titles, branding marks, and packaging where a Gothic or old-world tone is desired. It performs well in short headlines, slogans, and emblematic wordmarks, especially in high-contrast black-on-light treatments. For extended reading, it is more effective as a thematic accent than as body text.

The font evokes Gothic manuscripts, heraldic engraving, and dark ceremonial signage. Its pointed terminals and fractured stroke structure create a stern, dramatic voice that feels historical, ominous, and ritualistic, with strong visual authority even at short word lengths.

The design appears intended to deliver a concise, contemporary take on blackletter: condensed, legible enough for modern headline use while preserving the fractured, calligraphic structure and pointed terminals associated with historical Gothic letterforms.

The numeral set follows the same broken, faceted construction, with distinctive pointed diagonals and compact bowls that match the condensed rhythm. In the sample text, the dense vertical emphasis produces strong word shapes but can feel busy in longer paragraphs, favoring display and short-form settings.
