This typeface is a high-contrast italic serif with a distinctly calligraphic skeleton and flared stroke endings that broaden into wedge-like terminals. Letterforms show a lively forward slant, narrow internal apertures, and a rhythmic interplay of hairlines and tapered thick strokes. Serifs are sharp and understated rather than bracketed slabs, and many joins resolve into pointed, pen-like tips. The lowercase is fluid and compact, with an italic single-storey a and g, a long, elegant f, and a looped, descending y; capitals are more formal and sculpted, with sweeping curves in C, G, and S and a pronounced Q tail. Figures follow the same italic, high-contrast logic, with delicate curves and tapered endings that keep them visually consistent with the text.

Well-suited for editorial typography where an expressive italic voice is needed, such as book italics, pull quotes, and magazine features. It can also serve in refined branding, invitations, and packaging where elegance and movement are more important than rugged durability at very small sizes.

The overall tone is polished and literary, evoking traditional book italics and formal correspondence. Its crisp hairlines and sharpened terminals create a sense of precision and sophistication, while the flowing italic motion adds warmth and expressiveness.

The design appears intended to provide a classical italic with strong calligraphic cues—prioritizing grace, contrast, and a controlled, flared finish to strokes for a premium, text-forward aesthetic.

Spacing appears relatively open for an italic, helping the delicate hairlines breathe in continuous text. The design leans on tapered entry/exit strokes and wedge terminals, giving both text and display settings a slightly engraved, pen-cut character.
