A conventional text serif with broad proportions and generous horizontal space. Strokes are fairly even with subtle modulation, and the serifs are bracketed with slightly softened, flared endings that give the outlines a hand-touched feel. Curves are open and rounded (notably in C, O, e, and c), while joins and terminals show small asymmetries that keep the texture lively rather than mechanical. The lowercase has a steady rhythm and clear counters; the numerals and capitals share the same calm, softly modeled finish, with punctuation and dots kept simple and unobtrusive.

Well suited for book typography, essays, and editorial layouts where a traditional serif voice and comfortable readability are priorities. The broad proportions can work particularly well in headings and pull quotes, and it can also serve for institutional or cultural communications that benefit from a classic, literate tone.

The overall tone feels bookish and classical, with a quiet authority suited to long-form reading. Its softened terminals and mildly irregular detailing add warmth, suggesting a historically informed, humanist sensibility rather than a crisp, modernist one.

The design appears intended as a dependable, traditionally styled text face with a slightly humanist, oldstyle flavor—aimed at producing an even, readable texture while retaining a gentle, crafted character in the serifs and terminals.

In the text sample, the wide set and open counters create an airy page color at larger sizes. The serif treatment stays consistent across caps, lowercase, and figures, helping paragraphs feel cohesive without calling attention to individual letterforms.
