A high-contrast serif with sharp, tapered terminals and finely bracketed serifs. The overall drawing shows pronounced thick–thin transitions, with hairline horizontals on letters like E and F and stronger vertical stems that give a crisp, print-like texture. Uppercase proportions are stately and moderately wide, while the lowercase has compact bowls and clearly articulated joins; the two-storey a and g and the gently cupped t reinforce a conventional text-serif structure. Curves are smooth and controlled, counters are open, and spacing feels even, producing a steady rhythm across both the alphabet grid and the paragraph sample.

Well-suited for long-form reading in books and editorial layouts where a classic serif texture is desired. It also works effectively for magazine typography, literary titling, and institutional or academic materials that benefit from a formal, established tone.

The tone is traditional and editorial, evoking book typography and established publishing conventions. Its sharp contrast and clean serifs lend a refined, serious voice that feels at home in formal settings rather than casual or playful ones.

The design appears intended as a conventional, readable serif with a polished, high-contrast look, balancing traditional letterforms with clean, consistent detailing for editorial and book-centric composition.

The numerals follow the same contrast logic and appear oldstyle-leaning in feel, with varied widths and elegant curves (notably on 2, 3, and 5). In the text sample, the face maintains clarity at large sizes, with strong vertical emphasis and delicate hairlines that add sophistication but may ask for thoughtful sizing and printing conditions in smaller, low-resolution contexts.
