A high-contrast italic serif with sharply defined thick–thin modulation and tapered entry/exit strokes. Serifs are bracketed and finely pointed, with a steady rightward slant and a smooth, calligraphic rhythm. Uppercase forms are stately and compact, with crisp terminals and slightly cupped horizontals, while lowercase shows lively italic construction with single-storey a and g, a narrow, arched n/m, and a long descending q with a leftward tail. Numerals follow the same italic, high-contrast logic, featuring pronounced curves and delicate joins that keep the overall color refined rather than dense.

Well suited to long-form editorial and book contexts where an elegant italic is needed for emphasis, quotations, or secondary text. It also performs nicely in literary and magazine headlines, pull quotes, and formal invitations where a classic, high-contrast voice is desired.

The tone is traditional and cultivated, evoking book typography, formal correspondence, and editorial sophistication. Its pronounced italic movement and sharp contrast give it a dramatic, expressive voice without becoming ornamental.

The font appears designed as a conventional italic companion for refined serif typography, prioritizing a crisp, high-contrast texture and a fluent reading rhythm. Its forms aim to balance traditional bookish credibility with enough sharpness for contemporary editorial use.

The design maintains consistent contrast and slant across caps, lowercase, and figures, producing a cohesive texture in continuous reading. The italic is assertive enough for emphasis and display lines, yet the spacing and proportions remain restrained and text-oriented.
