This serif typeface features sharply tapered, high-contrast strokes with pronounced thick verticals and hairline joins and serifs. Serifs are finely cut and largely bracketed, creating crisp terminals on stems and a carved, chiseled feel in letters like E, F, T, and the numerals. Proportions are relatively narrow with compact counters; round letters such as O and Q show strong stress and tight internal space. Lowercase forms keep a conventional structure with a two-storey a and g, a sturdy, wedge-like ear on g, and a compact, slightly calligraphic rhythm in joins and curves.

It performs best in display and short-form typography such as magazine headlines, pull quotes, and brand-led layouts where its contrast can be appreciated. It also suits premium packaging and identity work, especially when set large or with generous letterspacing to avoid dark spots from the tight counters.

The overall tone is refined and assertive, combining classic bookish credibility with a modern, high-fashion edge. The extreme contrast and sharp finishing details lend a dramatic, premium presence that reads as curated and intentional rather than casual.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary interpretation of a traditional high-contrast serif—prioritizing elegance, drama, and a polished editorial voice. Its sharp serifs and sculpted curves suggest a focus on impact in large sizes while retaining a conventional letterform foundation for familiar reading.

In text settings the face produces a lively, sparkling texture from its hairlines and tight apertures, with strong vertical emphasis. The numerals mirror the same contrast and sharpness, with distinctive angled cuts that make them feel display-oriented rather than purely utilitarian.
