This typeface presents a sculpted serif style with gently flared stems and wedge-like terminals that feel cut rather than bracketed. Stroke endings taper to points in many places, producing crisp apexes on capitals and lively, slightly calligraphic joins in the lowercase. Proportions are balanced and readable, with open interior counters and a steady rhythm; the lowercase shows modest extenders and a traditional two-storey structure where expected (e.g., a), while the numerals sit comfortably with the text color. Overall contrast is noticeable but not dramatic, letting the flared endings and tapered strokes define the texture more than extreme thick–thin behavior.

Well suited to long-form reading such as books and essays, as well as editorial layouts where a traditional serif texture is desired. The distinctive flared terminals also make it effective for headlines, pull quotes, and identity work that benefits from a refined, established tone.

The tone is classical and bookish, with an old-style seriousness that reads as cultured and established. Its flared, chiseled details add a faintly historic or inscriptional flavor, giving text a dignified, editorial voice without feeling overly ornamental.

The design appears intended to blend traditional serif readability with a more sculpted, flared finishing that evokes carved or calligraphic stroke behavior. It aims to provide a classic text voice with extra character at terminals and joins, adding personality without sacrificing clarity.

In running text the letterforms create a slightly faceted, carved impression, especially where stems broaden toward terminals and then snap into sharp points. The uppercase has a stately presence suitable for titling, while the lowercase maintains an even, conventional cadence for paragraph use.
