A serifed text face with blunt bracketed serifs, sturdy verticals, and subtly uneven stroke edges that mimic worn metal type or rough letterpress impression. The outlines show consistent distressing—nicks, soft corners, and slightly swollen counters—creating a dark, inky color on the page. Proportions lean broad with roomy, open shapes (notably in O/C/G) and a generally steady baseline, while small irregularities in curve smoothness and terminal finish keep it intentionally imperfect. Numerals follow the same rugged construction, with simple, readable forms and a lightly battered texture.

Works well for display and short-to-medium text where a tactile, analog feel is desirable—posters, book or album covers, editorial pull quotes, labels, and brand marks that want a vintage printed voice. It can also suit themed UI or game/film titling when a worn, printed texture is part of the art direction.

The overall tone is vintage and utilitarian, like a weathered typewriter ribbon or an old printed notice. The distressed texture adds grit and atmosphere, lending a slightly ominous, noir-ish edge without becoming decorative to the point of illegibility.

The design appears intended to capture the character of aged print—typewriter or letterpress—by combining familiar serif structures with controlled roughness and ink spread. The goal is a dependable, classic skeleton made expressive through consistent wear and imperfect edges.

Distress is baked into the contours rather than applied as random speckling, so the texture remains coherent across sizes and lines of text. The face stays readable in paragraphs, but the heavy inky presence and rough edges will visually dominate in clean, minimalist layouts.
