A high-contrast serif italic with flowing, calligraphic construction and crisp, tapered terminals. Strokes show strong thick–thin modulation and a consistent rightward slant, with bracketed serifs and subtly flared entry/exit strokes that keep counters open. Proportions feel traditionally bookish, with moderate ascenders/descenders and a slightly lively rhythm created by varying letter widths and elegant joins in the lowercase. Numerals are also italicized and follow the same contrast and serif treatment for a cohesive text color.

Well-suited to book typography, editorial layouts, and magazine text where an italic voice is needed for emphasis or extended passages. It also works effectively for refined headings, pull quotes, and literary titling that benefits from a classic, high-contrast texture.

The overall tone is classical and cultured, evoking literary and editorial typography. Its sharp contrast and poised slant read as elegant and formal, with a confident, timeless presence that feels at home in traditional publishing contexts.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif italic with a strong calligraphic backbone, providing a polished, traditional companion for continuous reading and typographic emphasis. Its controlled contrast and bracketed serifs aim to deliver a familiar, trustworthy tone while retaining a touch of sophistication.

The lowercase shows a distinct italic handwriting influence (single-storey forms and angled shoulders), while the capitals remain stately and measured, giving a balanced hierarchy. At display sizes the fine hairlines look especially crisp; in smaller settings the contrast becomes a more prominent stylistic feature.
